Greetings and salutations!

We have a date! Evergreen - in its jewel cae format - will be available for purchase online, as well as the old fashioned way, from June 27th. Alternatively if you can't wait that long you will be able to download it from June 17th, over a week in advance!

Roholio will be launching Evergreen at the St Anne's Chapel gig in Barnstaple on June 27th and will be welcoming back non other than our co-founder and humble bouzouki player Tim Pointer. Expect some reworkings of classics, brand new tunes, unexpected covers and a whole lot of Evergreen ;)

My apologies for not writing for a while! Roholio has been swamped with recording Evergreen and rehearsing and now we are proud to announce Evergreen is finished and set for release within the month! It will be available online first as a download via this website and then a limited number of jewel case CDs will be available for purchase in the store and at our live events. We've got a lot of colourful gigs coming up including a very special set at St Anne's Chapel, Barnstaple June 27th. Tickets are £7.50 but this will include both food (supplied by yours truly) and drink not to mention a very magical atmosphere of haunting songs. If you like Roholio you will not want to miss this!

Stay tuned for more updates soon!

As you know there have been a lot of changes both with the website and the music lately - we've been having a good ol' shuffle and the dust still hasn't quite settled but it's getting there! We are more than ready to venture forth into the recording studio and deliver our emerald baby, 'Evergreen' to you, and with a bit of luck it'll be ready in time for Christmas!

We have been gigging the material of Evergreen for a good year now, some of the songs feel like friends and it's time to get them down. So we're off to The Ariel - home of Spilling the Beans - next Friday for two hours and are a bundle of nerves and excitement. This will be the fourth installment from Roholio which is pretty incredible really, I never thought I'd stop making music but I never thought I'd make so many albums! I really didn't think anyone would care what I had to say... guess I was wrong!

Ghosts was an absolute mission to get finished, and I am very proud of it. It was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish and is a complete drama record. Evergreen is me making my peace with the past - best I can - with the help of Tim 'Coco's Jar' Pointer.

So I guess this post is to keep you informed and really to thank you guys for your continuing support for all things music. I'm actually getting people come up to me on the street now, which is amazing! You are all an inspiration and none of it would be possible without you. Thank you.

Hey guys!

My friend has lovingly re-designed my site to suit my new album so I'm hoping you like it! Things should be a little easier to use and find - I particularly like the look of the media page so check that out, if only to look at the exclusive new video for the upcoming fourth album, "Evergreen."

Trust me to have a video before I have the album...

You will be pleased to know however that I have begun work on a video for "Always a Nightmare" and that I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of September. It's a bold new look for a bold new album but I'm hoping it'll be as well recieved as the music!

There are a few gigs coming up to grab your diaries!

  • Tiverton Balloon Festival August 24th 5pm Main Stage
  • SunWest Festival The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe August 26th Free Entry!
  • The Plough Arts Centre October 19th from 8pm £5 a ticket (I'm rehearsing some exclusive material for this so expect the unexpected!)

There might be a few more in the pipeline so I'll keep you up to date but in the mean time I shall be writing/rehearsing/recording (hopefully!) and editing that video!

Stay tuned as always!
